Fun with the Faucet

Our girls are deprived. Deprived of warm weather, swimming pools, drinking from the hose, and running through the sprinklers. Even though we may be deprived of some of summer's wonderful, wet gifts right now we have devised a plan to still have fun with water inside the house that doesn't involve swimming suits.

Natalie gets her face power-washed.

Daddy gave Mommy the gift of a new kitchen sprayer. Mommy LOVES being able to spray off dishes and such, but Daddy found the true destiny for the sprayer. I take that comment back about not needing swimming suits. Natalie was soaked after her pore-cleansing treatment.

Makayla finds a hidden talent in washing dishes.

A little more information about Makayla's dishwashing abilities--she works for free, she uses 10 times the water than a normal person, takes 30 minutes to wash a crockpot and a muffin pan, will wash the sink after she is done washing the dishes, and loves every minute doing it! We think we will utilize those skills, because right now she hasn't figured out it is a chore. You go girl!

I might have to teach Makayla a few more "fun activities" (chores) while she's here. Gotta take advantage of if before she knows the difference! ha ha!

I remember when Kelley used to think it was the coolest thing in the world to clean the house. She is still a neat freak.

Jamie! Thanks for the email with the link to your blog. :) Your two girls are adorable! Your Natalie reminds me of our Natalie. Oh, and Ryan says "You're the coolest, Jeremy." So fun.

I liked watching Makayla touch the stove in the background of the powerwash video! classic
